SUSPENDED TRANSPARENCY

The apartment, with an area of over 200 square meters spread across two levels, has been entirely designed, both in terms of the overall renovation and the furnishings, to achieve a total and coherent balance between aesthetics and functionality. The entrance welcomes visitors with a spacious and bright area, enriched by two large sliding doors in frosted glass that capture and diffuse natural light in a suggestive manner, visually connecting, when necessary, the entrance, the living room, and the kitchen, thereby creating new perspectives.

Adjacent to the entrance, the staircase, clad in brushed oak like the parquet flooring throughout the apartment, stands as one of the project’s distinctive elements. The most striking detail is the railing: a large triangular glass blade suspended like a stalactite, delicately grazing the staircase.

The custom-made furnishings, presented in two shades of gray, are characterized by a minimalist design, defined by clear and precise graphic lines, with a predominance of vertical and horizontal elements. The only exception is represented by the strong diagonal line of the staircase’s ceiling, intentionally left exposed, and the glass blade of the railing, which introduces a dynamic and visually powerful element within the geometric composition based on orthogonal axes.

On the upper floor, a study opens onto a veranda and a spacious terrace of one hundred square meters, offering direct contact with the outdoors, enhanced by a grid of beams and pillars and a series of plantings that define part of the terrace perimeter.”
